Why Reconditioned Batteries?
You might think that “new” is always better, but a reconditioned battery provides a great solution for a dead battery without the hefty price tag.
A reconditioned battery is, simply put, a battery that has been taken from another vehicle and restored to a good state of charge and performance capacity. Reconditioned batteries are a great way to save money keeping your vehicle operating during normal circumstances.
But you’re doing more than saving money; you’re also reducing your carbon footprint. Buying a newly reconditioned battery means that you’re giving it a second life, reducing the number of new batteries that need to be manufactured. And reconditioning a battery uses far less resources than manufacturing a new one, so it’s a win-win for your wallet and the planet.
How It Works
When used batteries arrive in our facility, they are sorted, tested, charged and retested again to ensure they meet all the requirements to be reconditioned. (Batteries that aren’t in good enough condition to be reconditioned are recycled.) Then, we clean them and prepare them so are ready to be sold at a percentage of the cost of a fresh-from-the-factory battery.
